Beautiful enough to serve as a centerpiece on a sideboard or decorate a kitchen wall, this 9-inch copper-plated stainless steel colander is adorned with cast brass handles. While it can be used for draining fruit, spinach or pasta, copperware this attractive is often used purely for decoration so it comes with a clear, protective coating that prevents tarnishing. If the colander is for rinsing or draining food the coating must be stripped off with any common lacquer remover.
